The horde of adventures and supplements from 40 years of Dungeons and Dragons development gives the modern gamer a trove of fantastic resources. The B-Series of modules for Basic Dungeons and Dragons offers a great example of adventures within the franchise old-school players still remember fondly. For many, this was a golden age of Dungeons and Dragons, and it is not hard to see why. This series of modules would focus on a series of introductory modules that were designed for use with Basic Dungeons and Dragons rules system. Initially, the series would be rather generic, and feature the core Basic theme of dungeons, but later modules in the series would play with this established formula, and be placed within the iconic Known World setting of Dungeons and Dragons.

Well they have been included because many good adventures are based on storylines rather than game mechanics, so please feel free to browse and harvest those ideas. Food, water, and wealth await heroic adventures inside and ancient pyramid ruled by a strange race of masked beings. No surprise, then, that it was written by the author of that set, Tom Moldvay. The adventure was allegedly called "The Lost City of Cynidecia" originally, though the source of that rumor isn't clear. By comparison, the title of "The Lost City" sounds truncated.

Modules made after the code system was dropped — are displayed in alphabetical order. Note: There is considerable overlap caused by the transition period and early pre-advertising for some modules. Module codes in brackets indicate implied codes either by earlier advertising or place in a series; some of these modules did not actually have codes printed on the cover.
